This healing is activated through the healing of the earth's greatest potential contributor to her wellbeing and her current greatest destroyer of her resources - humans. When we remember what our ancestors and our indigenous kin knew and know, that we are the earth and we are the spirit experiencing theirself as the earth, we can begin the process of liberation from suffering and disconnection and begin our journey towards wholeness.

I am the daughter of a shaman that incarnated as a Pentecostal preacher. It was the only way his soul could heal others, counsel others, teach others in a black body that was born on Chicago's South Side during the 1930s.

I am the daughter of a woman of dreams, visions, and prophecies. She was a priestess who incarnated as co-pastor and wife to my father.

My first experience with the Goddess energy was at the age of 13. A Prophet laid hands on me, and for the first time, I experienced the Numinous Creator Energy - the Shakti, the Holy Spirit, which caused my body to feel electric and tremble. Later in my teens, glossalia followed.

In 2007, I began to realize that my religion was too small to hold the love I knew God/Goddess had. It was during this period that I decided to leave my fear behind, and my life changed, ushering in a new level of mysticism.

For the first time, the ancestors began to show themselves in oracular or prophetic dreams and in visions. I would see areas of nature in visions that needed help, and the next day I would be led to a trail that had experienced blight. Some evenings I would be transported through visions to celestial realms and have elemental energies come and communicate.

I began a nearly decade-long journey of seeking. I had not been trained to understand that my experiences were shamanic in nature until I met my spiritual Mentor. My seeking eventually led me to Adam Kane of Shaman's Tent. During my first shamanic session with him, I told him the types of visions I was having. He explained that if I lived in a different culture I would be training with a shaman since nature spirits communicate with those who incarnate to be shamans/healers (intermediaries between the spirit realm and the earthen realm). I apprenticed with Adam for two years in core shaman practices.

My ancestors, guardians, and my own inner Light have guided me step by step over the last 11 years, since I began my apprenticeship. I have taken many pilgrimages, deepening my relationship with my own inner divinity and the healing and guardian energies of my spiritual court.

I am guided always by love-love, which means the flourishing and nurturing of all life. This love is unconditional and leads towards balance. It is with this lens that I facilitate every spiritual counseling session and every light doula ceremony.

As well as a Light Loula, I am a licensed Master of Social Work from Monmouth University, and I hold a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School (candidate, 2026).
